This Hookem Bass Anglers chapter was established on January 23, 2004. The common goal was to form a social Fishing Club, dedicated to good sportsmanship and preservation of the marine environment. We would hope to grow and be one of the most active fishing clubs in Texas. Expertise of members range from novice (beginner) to expert. Fishing anywhere from the coast, lakes or back yard ponds.
Our focus is on having a good time with friends and enjoying the great sport of bass fishing.
You do not need to own a boat or be an experienced Angler, just have the desire to enjoy bass fishing.
Meetings will be held once a month. Guests are welcome. The agenda usually includes a group chat (great for picking up tips and new fishing spots). For members there are monthly fishing contests.
Our club has a tournament once a month at various lakes in central Texas.
Social events consists of an annual banquet and picnic.
